Geranium is one of the most widely used oils in aromatherapy. Geranium essential oil is neither toxic, sensitizing (allergenic) nor irritating, but can possibly cause skin rashes in hypersensitive individuals. It is also widely used in soaps, perfumes, and cosmetics. Geranium essential oil is cleansing, bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, antipyretic and wound healing. It is therefore used for acne, psoriasis, dry eczema, cracked skin, injuries, wounds, burns and sunburn.

Geramium and nutmeg have many common features, especially when it comes to the topic of "women's oil". They are both often used for hormonal disorders during menopause and otherwise PMS and the like.

The oil is used for sagging skin, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, cellulite, bruises, broken blood vessels and fluid retention. The reason is that geranium has diuretic properties in that it stimulates lymph circulation. At the same time it has an astringent effect, and therefore the oil is used a lot, especially with lavender, for sagging skin, cellulite, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, bruises and blood clots,

You can use 2-3% dilution for use on the body or in the bathroom. On the other hand, it is recommended that you try carefully to regulate the scent image.

Skin care:

Organic Geranium Rose is great for skin care with its beautiful good aroma and its wealth of skin care benefits. Drizzle a few drops (try it out) Geranium Rose in 100 ml Rose Hydrolate for a quick and easy homemade toner (toner). You must remember to shake it before use to spread the oil. Use a cotton pad moistened with the toner over the skin after cleansing. Drizzle a drop or two into your favorite base oil and use as a facial cleanser. We especially recommend fractionated coconut oil for a light face oil.

As with any new product, always perform a patch test before first use.

Hair care:

Drizzle a few drops in your shampoo and or conditioner for a soft and shiny hair with a delicious scent.

Summary  / areas of activity:

Geranium Rose is uplifting and moody. Often called "women's oil" as it is fine in PMS / menopause.
A super oil for skin care, both for its aroma and not least for its balancing, diuretic and astringent properties.

General precautions when using essential oils:

Remember that all essential oils should be used with great care and respect. These drops are very potent and should be kept out of the reach of children. Pregnant women should avoid all essential oils and people with epilepsy, asthma and high blood pressure should check specifically regarding the individual oils.

Never use essential oils internally. There are some exceptions for some of the oils as a flavoring, but then only in microscopic amounts mixed with liquid or the like. In fact, drinking only a few milliliters of essential oil can, in the worst case, be fatal.

Always read a little before you start experimenting with essential oils and remember to check that they are labeled 100% pure essential oils.
